A church sign once said, "Church: one place where you aren't too bad to come in, nor too good to stay out." God has designed His church for everyone. If you don't have a church home, we invite you to come and visit us one Sunday.

Ministry Teams>

First Covenant Church is organized with teams, led by lay leaders, that lead us in carrying out God's mission for this church. These Ministry Team leaders along with the Church Chairman and Pastor form the Church Council which guides the church in fulfilling God's vision for her. The Ministry Teams are organized around the church's vision slogan - "Shining the LIGHT of Jesus", where LIGHT represents the five aspects of our ministry.

  1. L = Loving (Fellowship) : This team seeks to help us love and care for one another.

  2. I = Inspiring (Worship) : This team oversees the Sunday morning worship service and other special times of gathering to worship the Lord.

  3. G = Giving (Stewardship) : This team helps us use our time, talents and treasures in serving the Lord. It oversees the upkeep of the church property and coordinates the church budget.

  4. H = Harvest (Evangelism) : This team works to help us find ways to reach out to those outside the church that we might share Jesus Christ with them in word and deed.

  5. T = Transforming (Discipleship) : This team helps all ages participate in the journey of growing in our faith in God.




    6. There are also Women and Men Minstry Teams that plan various activities for the women and men, respectively.
