Beginning September 30th ----
40 Days of Community
An opportunity to discover how to live out God's purposes for us as His people. Weekly messages, daily readings, inspiring worship and small groups will bring us together in discovering who the Lord wants us to be and what He wants us to do. A number of community projects will also help us put into practice what we are learning and help us to live out our faith.
Saturday, October 6
Annual Swedish Dinner
The Annual Swedish Dinner will be from 4:00-7:00 pm. Tickets cost: Adults - $9 & Children 4-10 years of age - $4 & Children 3 and under - Free. Take outs are available. Call the church office at 258-0163 to reserve a ticket today.
The menu has on it such items like: pea soup, pickled herring, rye krisp, cabbage soup, beets, korv, ham, meatballs, rice pudding with lingonberries, grape kreme, fruktsoppa, potatiskorv, rusks, Swedish nut cake and more!
Wednesday, October 31
Halloween
Special safe and fun trick-or-treating in the church parking lot from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Parents, bring your children to a safe place where they can have some fun!
"Vineyards of Joy"
Saturday, November 10
9:00 am - 1:30 pm
An event for women to learn some practical and organization ideas. Donna Zito (from Bellevue, NE) will encourage us and share her own personal story of "survival" in the struggles of life. Call the church office at 258-0163 to request a flyer and to register by November 5th. Cost of workshop & lunch: $10.
